Comprehensive Checkup and Clean
Our dental examination involves a physical examination of your teeth, gums and soft tissues of your mouth. Our practice features digital X-ray screening for tooth decay and gum disease, which enables us to show you the images instantly and discuss a tailored treatment plan.
Once we’ve completed your examination, we’ll then move on to your dental clean. We are passionate about educating our patients in maintaining good oral health. Your friendly dentist takes special care when consulting with you and providing you with dental care in our practice.
When we discuss your treatment plan, you will understand exactly why and what needs to be done and the pros and cons of all options. We want you to feel confident in all your options before moving forward for any treatment. Your first visit typically takes 45 minutes.

What can I expect at my first appointment?
Your first visit includes a comprehensive dental examination, a professional clean and polish, fluoride treatment, and X-rays where needed. We take the time to walk you through our findings, answer any questions you have, and make sure you feel comfortable and informed from the moment you arrive.
Is there a special offer for new patients?
Yes. If you don’t have health insurance, you can access our New Patient Check-Up and Clean package for $180, normally valued at $330. If you do have health insurance, you may qualify for our No Gap Check-Up offer, covering up to $180 depending on your level of cover.
Do you accept health insurance?
Yes, we do. Eligible health fund patients may be able to claim their check-up and clean with little to no out-of-pocket cost. We recommend checking with your fund beforehand, and our team is happy to help you work out what you’re covered for.
I’m nervous about visiting the dentist – can you help?
Absolutely. We understand that dental anxiety is very real, and we’ve helped plenty of nervous patients feel at ease in our practice. We work at your pace, explain everything as we go, and focus on making your visit as comfortable and positive as possible. Just let us know how you’re feeling when you arrive.
Do you see children and families?

Can I book an emergency appointment as a new patient?
Yes. If you’re experiencing dental pain, swelling, a broken tooth, or any other urgent concern, please call us straight away. You don’t need to be an existing patient to be seen for an emergency.
What is considered a dental emergency?
Dental emergencies include severe toothaches, swelling, infections, chipped or broken teeth, knocked-out teeth, and damaged crowns or fillings. If something feels urgent or you’re in significant pain, contact us and we’ll help you work out the best next step.
How quickly can I be seen for an emergency?
We do our best to see emergency patients as soon as possible. Our priority is to relieve your discomfort and prevent the problem from getting worse, so please call us as soon as possible rather than waiting.
Do I need to bring anything to my first appointment?
It helps to bring your health fund card if you have one, along with any relevant dental history or recent X-rays. Beyond that, just bring yourself and we’ll take care of the rest.
