What a Dental Implant Actually Involves

A complete implant restoration usually has three parts: the implant itself, a titanium fixture placed in the jawbone; the abutment, a small connector piece; and the crown, bridge or full-arch restoration that sits on top and does the visible work of a tooth.

Meet Dr Poli Gunaridis (Dentist)

That’s where Dr Poli Gunaridis comes in. His clinical practice focuses on implant and regenerative dentistry, handling cases ranging from a single missing tooth to full-arch rebuilds using All-on-4® concepts, as well as bone grafting, sinus lifts, and soft-tissue procedures. He has extensive experience placing dental implants since graduating from the University of Queensland, and also lectures locally and overseas on implant and grafting procedures.
